Well, hello again! Just call me Jin ~
My Journey Start
The reason I got into design might sound a bit silly — I don't like math. When it came time to pick a major in college, my family pushed me toward engineering, hoping I wouldn’t end up starving after graduation, so I picked the least math-heavy option: Industrial Design.
Some Not-So-Boring Moments
From Industrial Design to UX
Once I got into it, I realized I was actually love design. but the limitations of Industrial design—balancing aesthetics, ergonomics, materials & manufacturing—made me felt like juggling an impossible triangle. I could create lots of compromised designs, but never a perfect product.
Enjoying humanizing complex workflow
That frustration led me to shift into UX/UI design. After graduating from the M.S. HCI program at Indiana University, Bloomington and completed some UX design internships, I became a full-time UX designer at Sprinklr in 2023 to build SaaS and CRM products. I really enjoy untangling the threads of complex problems and humanizing tedious, drawn-out workflows.
I love the beauty in the traces of time
and how people observe them
